Reaccreditation for Continuing Medical Education

Prior to the expiration of an organization’s accreditation term of two, four, or six years, the organization must be reassessed by IMQ/CMA. Organizations seeking reaccreditation are required to submit an application and demonstrated evidence of their performance in practice during the term of their accreditation, and to undergo an accreditation survey. These three sources—the application, evidence of performance, and survey—are the basis of the accreditation decision.
