IMQ has developed a Collaborative Partnership with the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society, an organization dedicated to ensuring top-quality patient care and safety in outpatient ophthalmic surgery centers.
IMQ and OOSS will work together to develop a model accreditation process tailored specifically for the ophthalmic ASC and educational tools and resources to guide continuous improvement in patient care. IMQ is happy to announce that we have been invited to participate at the OOSS Perspective 2017 in Los Angeles on May 7, 2017
This partnership is a win-win for both organizations. “OOSS understands the unique characteristics of ophthalmic surgery centers. IMQ’s physician surveyors are trained on specialty-specific requirements as they relate to meeting regulatory standards. Both organizations are deeply dedicated to improving and maintaining a high quality of patient care!”, said Neal Shorstein, MD, an ophthalmologist and Chair of IMQ’s Ambulatory Care Review Program.
Learn about this exciting new initiative by contacting IMQ, or by joining OOSS in Los Angeles at the OOSS Perspective 2017 @ ASCRS/ASOA, Sunday, May 7, 2017 from noon to 3 pm at the JW Marriott LA Live.
