IMQ presents CME award at annual conference on May 19

CME award recipients announced CME leaders and organizations from throughout California gathered at IMQ’s annual CME Provider Conference on May 19 to learn, among other things, about new ways that CME is interfacing with Maintenance of Certification and new Commendation requirements.

During the Conference, IMQ proudly presented the following awards for outstanding performance and accomplishments. Congratulations to this year’s award winners!

Outstanding CME Professional Award
This award recognizes an individual who provides support, dedication, and overall assistance to strengthen the entire continuing medical education effort within his or her organization.

Outstanding CME Chair Award
This award recognizes an individual who provides leadership, dedication, and overall guidance to strengthen the entire continuing medical education effort within his or her organization.

The Samuel R. Sherman, MD Award for Overall Program
This award is named after a physician who worked with CME providers at both the national and state levels. This award recognizes a CME provider for innovation in CME planning at the overall program level.
