Last year, Orson and I went to a few different festivals, and you know what: nothing new. Sounds like we were bored, but “nothing new” in the sense that it was great, as always. Thousands of people, many different sounds, combustible energy. There are going to be a lot of amazing festivals this year, and the list I’m about to give you will have some that will blow your mind.
The part will be in the “what is this” style, and someone will immediately look at the maps to see exactly where it is and what it is about. So far, Orson made the List of Top Music Festivals 2024. He has saved more money than I have, but we’ll somehow scrape together the money to see at least a few festivals we haven’t had the chance to visit before.
14. Exit Festival
Exit Festival 2024 is gonna be lit! It’s in Novi Sad, Serbia and people from all over the world come to the party. The vibe is super unique, with music, history, and Serbian culture all mixed together. It’s from July 10th to 14th. The mts Dance Arena lineup is sick, with Carl Cox, Black Coffee, and Bonobo. If you’re into electronic music, you gotta go!
13. Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland! One of the world’s largest and most popular electronic dance music festivals! It is in Boom, Belgium. They always have the best DJs, like Martin Garrix and David Guetta, and the stage designs are insane. They’re gonna have even crazier visuals and pyrotechnics in 2024. Plus, there are tons of food and art installations.
The festival will take place across two weekends from July 19-21 and July 26-28, welcoming 400.000 People of Tomorrow from over 200 countries. Pre-registration starts on December 6 via my.tomorrowland.com, the First 20 Sale starts on December 14 at 15:00 CET via tomorrowland.com.
12. Coachella
Coachella in Indio, California is a must-visit. They have a mix of popular and upcoming artists, like Billie Eilish and Bad Bunny. There are huge art installations and the fashion is awesome. Everyone’s always dressed in the coolest outfits. General admission passes cost $499 plus fees.
With this ticket, guests are allowed entrance to the venue and camping areas all weekend. If you want to splurge a bit, you can purchase VIP passes for Coachella at $1,069 plus fees.

11. Glastonbury
Glastonbury Festival, held in Somerset, England, is renowned for its eclectic lineup and cultural significance. 10. Sziget Festival
Located on Óbuda Island in Budapest, Hungary, Sziget Festival is a week-long celebration of music, art, and culture. Known as the “Island of Freedom,” Sziget attracts visitors from all over the world with its diverse lineup and vibrant atmosphere. The 2024 festival features artists like Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Post Malone.

9. Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza has always been my favorite music festival. It started in Chicago, but now it’s in other places, like Argentina, Brazil and Germany. It has all kinds of music, from rock to hip-hop to electronic.
In 2024, Chicago’s Lollapalooza will have great headliners like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lizzo and The Weeknd. During the break between performances, try the craft beer and the famous hot dog.
8. Ultra Music Festival
Ultra Music Festival a super cool event for people who love electronic music. He is based in Miami, Florida and is known for his energy and great production.
They have the biggest names in the industry and this year Marshmello, Tiesto and Carl Coke are there. The festival is in the city center. Ultra is one of the best electronic music festivals in the world, and always sets the bar for others.
7. Rolling Loud Europe
Rolling Loud is an international hip hop music festival which has been held in Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. This year it will take place from July 5-7 in Racino in Ebreichsdorf near Vienna. The 2024 festival will have Travis Scott, Cardi B, and J. Cole as the top performers.
People say the shows are super high energy and the crowds are really lively. Rolling Loud offers an intense experience for hip-hop fans. They also have merchandise, food, and art to check out. It seems like they provide a full cultural experience!

6. Montreux Jazz Festival
The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on Lake Geneva is one of the best jazz festivals worldwide. Started in 1967, it has seen legends like Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, and Prince. Running from 5-20 July 2024, artists will include Raye, Sting, Massive Attack, Kraftwerk, Janelle Monáe, PJ Harvey, Smashing Pumpkins, Jungle, Duran Duran, Rag’n’Bone Man, Yussef Dayes, André 3000, Alice Cooper and Deep Purple.
5. Burning Man
Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert stands out from other music festivals. It’s about community, art, self-expression, and independence. Participants build a temporary city with various performances and activities.
Music plays a big role with different stages and sound camps in many styles. The 2024 event will include electronic, live bands, and experimental musicians. Burning Man mixes art, music, and community in a totally unique way.
4. Electric Forest
Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan combines electronic music with an awesome forest setting. Known for its magical feel, stages are set among tall trees with bright light shows. In 2024 you can see ODESZA, Bassnectar, and The String Cheese Incident rock out. Besides the music they have art, interactive experiences, and classes.
They care about sustainability and bringing people together. Multiple stages, a diverse lineup, art displays, activities, little fun surprises, the beauty of the forest, the staff, and your fellow attendees all make this festival a MUST.
3. Fuji Rock Festival
Fuji Rock Festival is a large outdoor music event held at the Naeba Ski Resort in Japan. It is one of the biggest festivals in all of Asia. They gather big world names, and rock, electronic and folk music dominate.
This year they have Radiohead, Bjork and The Chemical Brothers as headline acts. Since it is in the mountains, the festival has an extra relaxing atmosphere. If you want to get active, there are hiking trails, hot springs, and local food stalls.

2. NOS Alive
The festival takes place at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés, a riverside open-area close to the limits of the city of Lisbon. lt is known for its variety of music like rock, pop, and electronic. Line Up:

1. Guča Brass Band (Trumpet) Festival 2024
I surprise you with first place on my “Top Music Festivals 2024” list. But this is something very exotic, I plan to visit this for a while. The Guča Brass Band Festival. It is in Serbia and sounds really unique! The small town of Guča comes to life with the sound of brass bands and traditional dances and costumes.
It’s a great chance to experience the local culture and party. Make sure to book hotels early since rooms can fill up. If you want an authentic cultural experience, this festival is worth checking out! And don’t forget – For all concerts admission is free!
